Jeff Smedsrud

Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder

Jeff is a results-oriented leader who has built and grown companies from back-of-envelope ideas to multi-million dollar, profitable and scalable entities with a focus on health insurance and other consumer-centric business models. He is a serial entrepreneur who has started several businesses – four of which have been acquired by publicly traded companies.

Creative thinker who has been a presenter at dozens of national trade conventions. Active marathon runner and member of Seven Continents Club -- one of only 200 or so individuals to run a marathon on all seven continents. Cancer survivor, charity activist and motivational speaker.

Previously, Jeff helped create and grow the fully-insured segment at The IHC Group (NYSE:IHC) from $0 to nearly $300 million in revenue in seven years. He led AMIC (NASDAQ:AMIC) to significant direct-to-consumer growth and national recognition.

Howard Yeh

President and Co-Founder

Howard oversees product strategy, revenue, online marketing, user acquisition, operations and technology for the company. He brings to 10+ years of overall experience as an investor, entrepreneur and operator in online businesses.

He was co-founder of, a software-as-a-service providing online customer acquisition tools for over 75,000 small business users. He was previously a co-founder and COO of BrokersWeb, Inc., an insurance-focused online advertising marketplace which was twice named to the Inc. 500 list of fastest-growing companies in 2010 and 2011 until its successful sale. Howard was a co-founder of the, Inc. in 2007. He also currently serves on the board of directors of Yola, Inc., an online do-it-yourself website builder that powers close to 10 million websites. He started his career as an investment banker at Merrill Lynch’s media group, and then as a venture capital investor at VantagePoint Capital Partners.

He is a graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Julia Matseikovich

Vice President of Revenue

Julia is responsible for product development for, leading the overall UI technology strategy and advancement of products on the website. Previously, Julia was the Director of Publishers at BrokersWeb, which is owned by Vantage Media, where she was responsible for developing and expanding relationships with Insurance publishers.

Julia has spent most of her career in startups and smaller companies where one can quickly turn great ideas into reality. She appreciates the speed and innovation this type of environment has to offer, and loves the idea of wearing as many hats as she comfortably can, while contributing her maximum personal potential.

Colleen McGuire

Vice President of Communications

Colleen is a digital communications professional with nearly 20 years of experience, primarily in the health insurance field. As a member of the team, she develops content strategy, as well as sets the online brand standards for the company. Colleen also manages public relations, media relations and social community.

Prior to joining Colleen was Vice President of Marketing and Digital Strategy for IHC Specialty Benefits, a member of The IHC Group, where she led content strategy, UI experience and social community for IHC’s direct to consumer websites.

April Seifert, Ph.D.

Vice President of Data Analytics

Dr. April Seifert is an expert in the field of data analysis for the healthcare industry, and has spent her career using measurement and analytics to inform decision-making from both the payer and the employer perspectives. Best known for her ability to convey complex analytical findings to very broad audiences, April is responsibilities include extracting value and insight from complex internal and external healthcare data to empower consumers to make the right decisions for themselves and their families. Prior to joining, April led the analytical team that supported the self-insured health plan for Target Corporation. She also served part of her career as Lead Healthcare Analyst at Medica Health Plans.

Dr. Seifert holds both her Masters of Science and Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she earned her doctoral degree in Social Psychology. Outside of work, April enjoys cooking, travel, and skydiving.

Marianne Delionado

Vice President of Sales

Marianne leads sales and client service initiatives for, while building third-party partnerships, leveraging new business development opportunities and increasing revenue. With over 10 years of experience, she enjoys the speedy start-up world, building divisions quickly and efficiently. She has worked for various companies in the online marketing space such as BrokersWeb, Text Link Ads, LLC (now Matomy Media), and Clash Media Group. She has worked extensively in online customer acquisition specifically for the insurance vertical, where she has experience selling performance-based advertising to insurance carriers, agencies and marketers at scale.

Kenneth Co

Director of Product Management

Kenneth is responsible for developing and assessing new product ideas for, which includes product strategy, outlining and documenting roadmaps, building and launching prototype build-outs, in addition to leading product development.

Kenneth’s career spans more than 10 years of designing, launching and managing products where high customer engagement is critical to success. Prior to, he has held various product management roles across different industries for startups to multinational companies, such as Yahoo!, Elsevier and Ticketmaster.

Kenneth holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Boston University’s School of Management.
