Florida’s proposed health insurance rates for 2015 are in, and those enrolled in the state’s health insurance exchange are looking at an average 13.2 percent increase over 2014 monthly premiums. The proposed increases were reported in early August by the Miami HeraldHowever, just days later, the White House countered the statement and said Florida’s health insurance premiums would actually fall for many Floridians, especially in the densely populated areas of Miami and Orlando.
